Breast Cancer Survivors rock the runway at Wine Women and Shoes

By  |

The 5th annual Wine Women & Shoes Houston held on Thursday, September 6 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott featuring wine tastings, shopping from local vendors, and a New York style runway show.

Local breast cancer patients and survivors modeled the latest looks on the runway and the event spotlighted Caroline Frenzel, a local Woodlands resident and the iGoPink Scholarship recipient. Caroline’s mother was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastic Breast Cancer in November of 2016 and continues the battle today. Caroline plans to use the scholarship to attend The University of Texas at Austin where she hopes to one day start her own non-profit to provide healthy meal options to cancer patients.
