Wendtwoods Pool to re-open after two employees test positive for COVID-19

The Woodlands Township Wendtwoods Pool has followed an extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedure after two employees tested positive for COVID-19. The pool has been closed and is scheduled to reopen today, June 29, 2020.

The employees worked the below shifts at Wendtwoods Pool:

  • June 14, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 15, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 16, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 17, 10 a.m. to noon
  • June 19, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 20, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 21, 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • June 23, 1 to 8:15 p.m.
  • June 24, 10 a.m. to noon

Township staff members undergo daily temperature screenings upon reporting to work along with being asked a variety of questions regarding possible coronavirus exposure. The employee who tested positive was screened each day and did not present with an elevated temperature.

The Woodlands Township is working diligently to ensure the safety of all residents and visitors to Township pools, parks and amenities.
