Veteran’s Day Tribute in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Woodlands Township honored military men and women at the Veterans Day Tribute on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. in Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute featured a presentation of colors and musical performances. Retired Lt. Cmdr. Charles Abell of the U.S. Navy served as the keynote speaker. A care package drop-off booth also was on site to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops abroad.

“The Woodlands Township looks forward to honoring our military at the upcoming Veterans Day Tribute,” said Chairman of the Board Gordy Bunch. “Few words can adequately express how blessed we are to have these brave men and women who answer the call to protect our nation and our freedoms, many times at their own peril. Our veterans’ unwavering commitment to our country and community warrants our utmost gratitude, support and respect. I hope to see many of our residents at the event to greet and honor our veterans.”

Free parking for the event was available in the Timberloch colored lots, located off Timberloch Place and Grogan’s Mill Road.
