Veterans Day Tribute in The Woodlands

Despite the rain and dropping temperatures, the community came out on Monday, November 11, 2019 to honor military men and women at The Woodlands Township’s Veterans Day Tribute at 4:30 p.m. in Town Green Park located at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute featured a presentation of colors, musical performances, and a special presentation from The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Chairman Gordy Bunch, Congressman Kevin Brady, and keynote speaker Lt. Col. Eugene Vecera (Ret.) of the U.S. Army.

A care package drop-off booth was available on site to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops abroad.
