TWUMC Summer Kick-Off Family Event Set for June 2
The community is invited to The Woodlands United Methodist Church for a Summer Kick-Off night of fun and laughter for the whole family. The church plans to kick-off summer activities by hosting a comedy event along with a fun festive experience for children. The event is on Sunday, June 2 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in The Harvest Worship Center.
While parents and older kids enjoy an evening of comedy with Dennis Gaxiola, all children ages 3-years to 6th grade can participate in an evening of activities including dinner, crafts, snacks, bounce houses and worship. The cost is $15 per child with registration limited to 300 children. Child care is provided for children under 3-years old.
The comedian, Dennis Gaxiola, is one of America’s funniest clean comedians. The preacher’s son has appeared with Jamie Foxx on Comedy Central and The Latin Kings of Comedy Tour with Paul Rodriguez along with other comic headliners. Comedy is Dennis’ gift, but his relationship with Jesus Christ is the driving force in his life. A powerful testimony of redemption, healing in marriage and a personal walk with Jesus have led to Dennis being able to minister at Youth Conventions, Marriage Seminars as well as weekly church services.
