Tomball cancels July 4th Festival due to Potential Weather
TOMBALL, TX – The City of Tomball has cancelled the annual July 4th Celebration & Street Festival presented by Allied Siding & Windows.
Multiple forecasts for potentially heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds beginning on Tuesday afternoon and continuing through the weekend forced the decision by City officials.
The July 4th Celebration & Street Festival presented by Allied Siding & Windows is traditionally Tomball’s most well attended city signature event hosting more than 25,000 festival goers in 2017.
Tomball is just 28-miles northwest of downtown Houston on FM 2920 at State Highway 249. For more information about Tomball’s attractions, festivals and events, visit tomballtx.gov or “Tomball Texan for Fun” on Facebook.
