The Woodlands Township Invites Residents to Arts in the Park

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department will host Arts in the Park featuring Shakespeare in the Park on Sunday, October 21, 2018, from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive. The September event was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Arts in the Park is a free event that offers a variety of entertainment including live stage performances, food trucks for concession purchases, local vendors selling original artwork and crafts, along with a KidZone that includes activities, inflatables and more. All residents are invited to enjoy this family-friendly afternoon.

Enjoy a fun afternoon of music, crafts, and entertainment at Arts in the Park on Sunday, October 21, 2018, from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive.

Upstage Theatre, with music by Woodlands Symphony Brass, will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. to perform Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” This classic work will be set in 1940s New York, creating a unique and exciting spin on the original.

New for 2018, submissions from the inaugural Art Contest will be on display during the event and winners will be recognized on stage.
