Montgomery County COVID-19 Case Count
Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can regrettably confirm two additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 40. A woman in her 70s, from Spring, and a man in his 70s, from Willis, died in the hospital. Both had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19. We offer our condolences to both families at this time.

We can also confirm the total number of COVID-19 cases increased by 92 to 2,876 cases in Montgomery County. ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 decreased to 1,000. Of the 1,000 active cases who are Montgomery County residents, 36 are in the hospital. 1,836 people have fully recovered.

Take the steps needed to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Avoid groups of people. Wear a mask (if it is necessary to be in public), wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, disinfect surfaces in your car and around your home, and practice social distancing. We have the power to keep businesses and restaurants open.
