Make Time for Mental Health
During a stressful time like a pandemic, it is vital to stay on top of your mental health. Small daily practices can help to ensure that you stay well during this time.

One simple way to manage stress is daily physical activity. Research shows that even modest amounts of exercise can positively impact mental health, stress, anxiety, depression and overall health. Take 10 minutes (or more) each day to get in a brief walk or bike ride on the beautiful pathways of The Woodlands. Explore The Woodlands Waterway or the George Mitchell Nature Preserve. Use The Woodlands Township’s Interactive Parks and Pathways map to guide your exploration.

However you choose to engage in movement, always consult with your physician before starting a new program and remember to hydrate with water, apply sunscreen and insect repellent, practice social distancing and wear a mask if you will be in close proximity to others. Please also remember to observe pathway safety guidelines as shown below.
