Thanksgiving Recycling and Trash Service Reminders

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, The Woodlands Township reminds residents that there will be no curb-side collection services on Thursday, November 28. Households that are normally serviced on Thursday or Friday will be serviced the following day.  All services are affected—trash, recycling, yard trimmings, bulk pick-up and Simple Textile Recycling. 

Please see the chart below to determine your service day:

The regular pick-up schedule will resume on Monday, December 2, 2019.

The Woodlands Recycling Center on Research Forest Drive will be open during regular hours:

  • Open on Wednesday, November 27, from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Open on Saturday, November 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Be a good neighbor this Thanksgiving holiday week.  Courtesy matters:

  • If you have house guests, keep streets clear of parked cars on trash days to prevent blocked streets and missed pickups.
  • Consider assisting out-of-town neighbors by placing and removing their trash and recycling carts from the curb to keep our community beautiful.
