Suspect in “Kick Door” Burglaries Found

On December 1, 2018, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 1900 block of Sawdust Road, Spring, Texas in reference to a trespasser in progress. A witness called 911 advising that he saw a white male kick in a door of a building.

The male suspect fled on foot with Deputies quickly establishing a perimeter around his last known location. A DPS helicopter along with MCSO K9 were dispatched to assist in the search for the suspect.

After an extensive search causing several roadways to be closed and numerous yards of residences to be checked, the suspect was located hiding underneath a vehicle at 1835 Woodland Field Crossing, Spring, Texas.

During the preliminary investigation Deputies believed this to be the same suspect that kicked in the back door of a residence in the Timber Lakes Timber Ridge Subdivision yesterday but got away. Suspect could possibly be linked to several other “kick door” burglaries in the area.
The arrest was a result by the work by the Deputies and assisting agencies involved who refused to quit until this suspect found.
