Suspect in Custody in Pharmacy Robbery, College Park High School on Lockout

On January 22, 2019 at about 7:29 am, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Walgreens located at 3061 College Park Dr, The Woodlands, TX. The suspect entered the Walgreens and went straight to the pharmacy located in the back of the store. He handed the Pharmacist a note asking for specific drugs and showed her what appeared to be a long gun under his jacket. The suspect then jumped over the counter and walked out. The suspect headed south on foot toward the back of the Walgreens and across the street behind another building located at 17191 St Luke’s Way and disappeared.

The suspect was described as a W/M with short brown hair, tall about 6’0-6’3”, thin wearing a surgical mask, dark brown backpack, a jacket and olive green in color coveralls with hoodie. K-9 and Air support are in route to assist in the search. If you spot the suspect contact law enforcement immediately.

Deputies are still in the area of the attached map below College Park High School has been placed on lockout not a lockdown. CISD PD is on scene to secure the school grounds.

UPDATE 1/22/19 11:46am: Suspect now in custody.

UPDATE 1/22/19 6pm: “After the suspect received the narcotics from the pharmacy, he fled south on foot toward the back of the Walgreens, and across the street behind another building located at 17191 St Luke’s Way before disappearing. A perimeter was established by responding Deputies. Thanks to the hard work of the responding Deputies and Detectives, a person of interest was located in the area and arrested on unrelated charges to the robbery. At this time we cannot release the name or photo of the person arrested as it could compromise the investigation as detectives are still interviewing witnesses and showing photo lineups.”
