Solid waste services not impacted by Fourth of July holiday

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the 4th of July holiday. There will be no interruption or delay of services due to the holiday. Waste Management will provide curbside pickup of trash, recycling and yard trimmings to residents on their regular service day, including Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

Whether staying at home or attending a community event on the Fourth, residents are reminded that plastic bottles and aluminum cans recycle. Watch for the green flags that designate recycling locations at all Township events on the Fourth of July. Just like home, always empty the liquid contents before placing bottles and cans in the recycling containers provided. Put trash in its place and help to keep recycling working. Please, NO plastic bags, food or other trash in recycling containers, at home or away.
