Signatures Luncheon Connects ‘Bernadette’ Novel With Drawing Prizes

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TX – As is tradition, The John Cooper School’s Signatures Author Series, to be held on December 6, offers the opportunity to enter a drawing for prizes that are creatively connected to the books of the featured author. For the 15th anniversary event, and based on 2019 author Maria Semple’s bestselling novel, Where’d You Go Bernadette?, there is an amazing opportunity to go on an 11-day cruise to Antarctica.

The Antarctica cruise for two includes airfare credit up to $2,000 to Buenos Aires, a pre-cruise hotel night in either Punta Arenas, Chile or Ushuaia, Argentina. The winner will work with Andrew Butler Travel and Quark Expeditions, well known for their Antarctic expedition team. Each departure will have a marine biologist, ornithologist, photographer, historian, geologist and more on board the vessel providing group lectures and context during the excursions and sailing.

Another lucky drawing participant will win a 4-day trip to visit the sights, tastes and sounds of Seattle, the city that is also a backdrop for Semple’s book. This trip for a family of four will offer the chance to see everything the destination has to offer via a CityPASS to visit the Space Needle, Seattle Aquarium, Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour, Museum of Pop Culture or Woodland Park Zoo and Chihuly Garden and Glass or Pacific Science Center.
