Sheriff’s Office makes Prostitution Arrest

By  |

On September 21, 2018, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit completed a long term investigation regarding a subject allegedly compelling two juveniles into prostitution. After multiple hours of surveillance work, utilizing unique technological and undercover investigative processes, the suspect identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The suspect, Donald Bland, age 31 from Conroe, Texas, was charged with one count of “compelling prostitution under age 18” (a felony of the first degree).

On September 21, 2018, at about 10:30am the arrest warrant was executed by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit and SWAT team in the 500 block of Hickerson St. Conroe, TX. Donald Bland was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail on a $100,000 bond.

“Our investigators did a phenomenal job in the case. Unfortunately, these juvenile victims were forced to experience and engage in behaviors that no child should ever be exposed to,” said Lt. Tim Cannon, who is in charge of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit. “The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and our Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance partners are committed to rescuing these kids and bringing their traffickers to justice wherever they may be.”
