By  |

Beginning in December 2019, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office began receiving multiple investigations involving thefts from purses from various businesses in Montgomery County. The suspects would then leave and that store and go to another store to purchase items using the stolen credit cards. The targeted victims were typically elderly females who placed their purses in the shopping cart, leaving them vulnerable once distracted. MCSO has eight active cases on some or all of these suspects and PCT 3 Constables Office is investigating an additional case.
