Sheriff and Partners celebrate Second Annual Operation Blue Elf

On Friday, December 21, 2018, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office along with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Alumni Association and numerous community partners celebrated the Second Annual Christmas Toy Drive “Operation Blue Elf” at the Montgomery County Fair Grounds located at 9333 Airport Road in Conroe, Texas.

Thanks to the support of the community, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office collected gifts and monetary donations to help make Christmas better and brighter for children-in-need within our community. Community partners assisted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in identifying over 1,200 children, infants and early teenagers that were in need of Santa and his Blue Elf helpers this year.

Hello Woodlands and media partners were invited to attend the event and see the smiling faces as they experienced all the wonderful things Operation Blue Elf had in store for the kids. The event included a visit from Santa Claus, Santa’s Helpers, members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and community partners. Law enforcement, fire, and EMS vehicles were on display as well as face painting, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and so much more activities for the children and their families.
