Red, Hot & Blue Festival Cancelled, Fireworks Continue

By  |

The Woodlands Township has shared the following update on the 21st Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival:

In light of unfavorable park conditions from today’s rain event, the 21st Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival has been cancelled at all locations. The Fireworks Extravaganza has been reduced to two launch locations due to recent heavy rainfall amounts that compromised the launch sites.

The Woodlands Township staff is working closely with its contracted fireworks vendor to ensure the main show on Lake Woodlands and Rob Fleming Park are able to continue as scheduled at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Due to heavy rains and high lake levels, Northshore Park will be closed with access restricted for spectators. Please use the following locations for best fireworks viewing:

-Lake Woodlands Bridge (Closed to vehicular traffic from 8 to 9:30 p.m.)
-Alight Solutions parking lots (9500 Lakeside Boulevard)
-Waterway extension at Lake Front Circle
-Rob Fleming Park
