Pumpkins & Paws Fall Festival to Benefit Operation Pets Alive!
CONROE, TX – Operation Pets Alive! (OPA) is thrilled to announce its upcoming “Pumpkins & Paws Fall Festival.” This fabulous, fun, family and fur-friendly event will benefit the homeless dogs and cats of Montgomery County, Texas. This free fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 27 from noon-5:00 p.m. at Wolfies Restaurant and Sports Bar on Lake Conroe.
Kicking off the day will a big ‘Miles for Mutts’ charity event. Fleet Feet, Sun & Ski Sports and Dog Quality are coming together as sponsors to “Put Pedals n’ Paws to the Pavement to Benefit OPA.” The public is invited to participate and fundraise by signing up for a 5K Fun Run, a Motorcycle Poker Ride, or a 20K Bicycle Ride. Registration fees are $20 per adult, and include a Miles for Mutts T-shirt. For just a $5 donation, OPA is offering a virtual option to Run, Ride or Cycle to support their life-saving work. After the races at noon, the free celebration begins at Wolfies on Lake Conroe, featuring live music all day including headliner singer & songwriter Megan Kelley and performances by Troy Ita and Reggie Bruhn. There will also be artisan and market vendor booths, a pet costume parade and contest with prizes, pumpkin carving contest with prizes, a pet kissing booth, snow cones, a pet tattoo parlor, silent auction, and more.
The grand silent auction item is an ultimate golf experience – a caddied day of golf for 4 at the BlueJack National Golf Course, TGR Design (Tiger Woods), including food & non-alcoholic beverages, valued at $1,000 donated by our Top Dog Sponsor, Dog Quality.
OPA’s Raffle features eight great prizes, and thanks to generous raffle item sponsors, ALL proceeds from raffle will go to support OPA’s life-saving work. Tickets are $5 each and may be purchased at at the Pumpkin & Paws Fall Festival, or in advance online at www.operationpetsalive.org.

Operation Pets Alive! is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No Kill community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our local shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave local shelters alive.
