“Play A Round for the Wranglers” Golf Tournament to Benefit New Danville

WILLIS, TX — The first New Danville golf tournament, Play A Round for the Wranglers, benefiting adults with intellectual disabilities, takes place on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Woodforest Golf Club. 

The tournament committee has prepared a terrific lineup of festivities, starting with lunch and registration, four-person scramble, prizes for: closest to pin, longest drive, hole-in-one, and ending with an awards presentation and dinner. Registration is still open for the tournament online at www.newdanville.org/golf

Presenting sponsor is KIH GPO, and the committee is made up of: Brady and Kelly Hull, Odette D’Agostino, Diana Egley, Maureen Donelan, and Jen McDonald. 

According to New Danville Board Chair, Danielle Schneider, “We wanted a fun, outdoor event that would greatly benefit our day program.” 

Logistical Information: 

  • Date: May 18, 2021 
  • Location: Woodforest Golf Club, 1199 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Montgomery 
  • $250 per person, $800 team of 4 (includes, green fees, cart, tee gift, lunch & dinner) 
  • 10:30 to noon registration and lunch – Shotgun start at noon 
  • Awards and dinner 4:15 pm to 6:00 pm
