New Year’s Eve Celebrations Around Town
Wondering where to go and what to do for New Year’s Eve? Celebrate the new year in style right here in The Woodlands. There are plenty of last minute options so raise a glass and toast to the new year at one of these many events!
The Woodlands Resort – A Night at Studio 54 – Enjoy champagne wishes and mirror ball dreams, and dance the night away to disco favorites and today’s top hits! Choose from 4 different NYE Packages with rates starting as low as $185 per person including:
- Overnight accommodations for two with 1:00 p.m. late check out

Glade Cultural Center – Last Minute NYE Party – No plans for New Year’s Eve 2018? No problem! Join the Last Minute NYE Party to celebrate in style! Tickets include a night to remember with DJ, complimentary champagne at midnight with balloon drop, appetizers provided by Truluck’s, photo booth, party favors, Maserati giveaways, cigar rolling station by Blend Bar, and two drink tickets included. VIP package available also.
Nick’s Fish Dive & Oyster Bar – New Year’s Eve Bash – The countdown party starts at 9:00 p.m. Pre fixe menu and raw bar options, DJ, dancing, party favors and champagne toast at midnight! Special pre fixe menu and regular menu options available.
Broken Barrel – NYE Four Course Pre Fixe Menu – Ring in 2019 with a very special evening at Broken Barrel. Chef Hilda and her team have created an exclusive four course pre fixe menu for the evening that includes a champagne toast. The menu has also included gluten-free and vegetarian options. At midnight will there will be party favors to celebrate in style. Reservations will be offered for a seating at 5:00 p.m. and a seating at 9:00 p.m.
Dosey Doe (The Big Barn) – NYE Show with Mike Zito and Ally Venable – Ally, a Lone Star modern blues power house, kicks things off with Mike bringing it home for New Year’s Eve. Dinner served 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. including salad, entrée choice, dessert, soft beverage, champagne toast, and party favors.
Del Frisco’s – Cheers to the New Year – The exclusive New Year’s Eve three course prix fixe menu features a celebratory Prosecco toast, signature entrée options like filet duo and broiled lobster tails, and classics like cheesesteak egg rolls, ahi tacos, and Nutella bread pudding. There will be a special New Year’s Day Brunch on January 1st to enjoy favorites like lemon ricotta pancakes, crab cake Benedict and southern fried chicken & waffles.
Cielo Latin Bar – Ring in 2019 at Cielo Latin Bar – Head to Cielo to welcome in 2019 at North Houston’s premier latin nightclub. Cielo DJs will be mixing up the best tropical Latin hits, including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Dembow, and more. Don’t miss the most exciting New Year’s Eve celebration The Woodlands has ever seen where imagination, beauty, and music take center stage featuring a live DJ spinning amazing mixes, photo booth, food action stations, decadent desserts, and a fabulous champagne toast at midnight to ring in 2019. The Owen Theater – The Brown and Swerve Band at The Owen Theatre – Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Owen Theatre with 60’s and 70’s music! There is an option to dine at 7:30 p.m. and then dance the year away for $50, or dance only beginning at 9:00 p.m. for $30. All proceeds benefit The Player’s Theatre Company.
Pacific Yard House – New Year’s Eve Dinner with Johnny & The Spinsations – Choose from Salmon or Prime Rib with two sides, salad and a dessert. The evening will start from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with appetizers, followed by the delicious dinner. At midnight, there will be a Chramsberg Blanc de Blancs Champagne toast. $50 for reserved seating, $60 at the door.
Woodlands Children’s Museum – High Noon Countdown – Don’t forget the kids! The little ones can’t stay up until midnight, so the The Woodlands Children’s Museum has a High Noon Countdown Monday December 31st! “Pop” in the New Year to celebrate by making New Year’s hats and creative art projects. Pre purchase of admission is advised. Several different times are available. There will be noise maker handouts 5 minutes before each celebration, Tom’s Fun Band, and Claude Sims the Juggler in Bubble Wrap.
La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa – Montgomery County NYE Celebration – The best part of Montgomery County NYE’s celebration is that all of the proceeds of the evening will be divided between TWO community non-profit organizations that help improve the lives of our local children in foster care making your purchase partially tax deductible! Avenida Brazil – New Year’s at Avenida Brazil – Join Avenida Brazil On December 31 and January 1 for Brazilian style steak cuts served table side, fifteen cuts of meat, salad bar, and hot sides. Bar Louie – Black and White Masquerade – The bottles will be popping, taps will be flowing, kitchen will be cookin’ and music will be pumping until last call. Bar Louie will be saying au revoir to 2018 in style on Monday, December 31st.
