New Amenities Coming to Grand Central Park

CONROE, TX – Grand Central Park, best known for its forested settings, vast green spaces and majestic lakes, will soon add a new amenity complex, playgrounds, fishing pier, and other resident-only amenities as the Montgomery County master-planned community of new homes continues to take shape.

Grand Central Park’s 13-acre Lake House Amenity Complex will feature a resort-style pool, fitness room, yoga and event lawn, playground, freestanding pavilion for events and resident gatherings, and an event room with kitchen. The Lake House pool is scheduled to open for the 2020 swim season while the remainder of the amenity complex setting is slated to open by the end of 2020.

“We’re looking at a design for the Lake House that compliments the existing open-air pavilion and blend in with the rest of this tree-lined setting,” notes Shannon League, director of marketing for Grand Central Park. “The complex will be ideal for families looking to enjoy year-round indoor and outdoor fitness activities.”

Other additions coming in 2019 include the new Twilight Park with playground, fitness trail and fitness stations, and a new Mystic Pond fishing pier with café lights, fire pit and gazebo. Both Twilight Park and Mystic Pond are located in Grand Central Park’s West Village, the community’s first phase of new homes.

Also opening soon in Grand Central Park’s West Village is the resident-only Frisky Biscuit Dog Park, two fenced areas for large and small dogs with play equipment and a dog wash station.

“Our residents love the great outdoors,” adds League. “That’s one of the chief reasons new homebuyers choose the community.”

Grand Central Park, a carefully planned community of new luxury patio homes, lifestyle townhomes and larger, single-family homes by Johnson Development Corp., is located at I-45 North and South Loop 336 five miles north of The Woodlands.
