THE WOODLANDS, TX – A day of holiday fun, filled with surprises, awaited children at the annual Jingle Bell Christmas Party on Saturday, December 14, 2019. More than 600 children and teens in foster care attended this year’s event, which was hosted by the Montgomery County Foster Care Coalition.

The 2019 Jingle Bell Christmas Party featured food, arts and crafts, face painting, train rides, a petting zoo, rock wall, mini ferris wheel, photos with Santa, activities and games for teens, and a chance to play in the snow. Every child also received their own gift during the event.

Margaret Martin, Jingle Bell Christmas Party Chair for the past three years, explained the purpose behind the annual event. “This party is about reminding children in foster care that they are loved and not forgotten during the holiday season.” Martin continued, “There is a whole network of people who want to support them and make sure they know they are cherished.”
