THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – After 10 months of service, Mobike has ceased operations in The Woodlands in addition to many other communities throughout the United States. The bike-sharing program was made available with no direct cost to the Township.

The Township is soliciting similar replacement services and hopes to announce a new bike-share program in the near future.

The Woodlands has maintained the Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) designation since 2011 from The League of American Bicyclists. The Woodlands is one of seven Bicycle Friendly Communities in Texas.
