Meth Seized at traffic stop in Magnolia

On July 16, 2019, Deputies with the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Department made a traffic stop on a white car traveling on Hardin Store road.

Deputies stopped the vehicle after seeing the car speeding and having an obscured license plate. The vehicle pulled over on Trailwood Estates. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Randall (Rocky) Lawson (age 47) from Magnolia, Texas. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Tracey Schneider (age 51) from Magnolia, Texas. Randall and Tracey were very nervous while Deputies spoke with them. Deputies then had both of them exit the vehicle. While Tracey was exiting the vehicle Deputies noticed a clear crystal substance on her seat where she was sitting and on her pants. After speaking with Randall and Tracey they were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) a state jail felony. The weight of the Methamphetamine was .7 grams.

Randall and Tracey were taken to the Montgomery County Jail and released to jail staff. While at the jail it was discovered that Tracey had a bag containing Methamphetamine stuffed in her pants. The weight of the Methamphetamine was 7.1 grams. Randall and Tracey both stated that Randall gave Tracey the drugs to hide while they were being pulled over. Randall and Tracey were then charged with possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) a second degree felony.
