Magnet Recognition Program® Site Visit at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center

By  |

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center was designated as a Magnet organization in 2010 and 2015 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In December 2019, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center is applying for redesignation.

Magnet status is an award given by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC), an affiliate of the American Nurses Association, to hospitals that satisfy a set of criteria designed to measure the strength and quality of their nursing.

To nurses, Magnet Recognition means education and development through every career stage, which leads to greater autonomy at the bedside. To patients, it means the very best care, delivered by nurses who are supported to be the very best that they can be.

Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so. Anyone may send comments via e-mail and direct mail. All comments received by phone must be followed up in writing to the Magnet Program Office.

Your comments must be received by the Magnet Program Office by November 29, 2019
