Light It Blue Campaign in The Woodlands honors Healthcare and Frontline Professionals

By  |

The Howard Hughes Corporation®, The Woodlands Township and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion are illuminating its key landmarks blue, nightly, throughout The Woodlands®.

The Howard Hughes Corporation is also lighting the night sky blue in all three of its award-winning communities in the Greater Houston area – The Woodlands, The Woodlands Hills® and Bridgeland®. As part of the country’s Light It Blue campaign, the blue lights honor healthcare and essential front-line personnel who are working during this COVID-19 pandemic.

“The healthcare professionals and all of those on the frontline are working tirelessly in our communities and in communities around the world during this pandemic,” said Jim Carman, President, Houston Region for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “The blue lights are just one way to honor them. We are standing strong together.”

Blue lights are visible in the following areas:

  • The Woodlands:
    • Hughes Landing® Band Shell
    • Waterway Square®
    • The Woodlands Waterway® Bridge
    • The Turning Basin on The Woodlands Waterway
    • The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
  • The Woodlands Hills: Entrance to The Woodlands Hills community
  • Bridgeland: Three Bridgeland community entrance signs on Grand Parkway

Tonight, we #lightitblue to show our support to the brave medical workers on the frontlines – thank you!
