Inspiration Ranch receives $100K donation for Golf Classic for Kids

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch recently announced that it has received a significant donation from a local philanthropic business. Waste Connections donated $110,000 to the nonprofit organization with proceeds from the 2018 Golf Classic for Kids held March 25th and 26th.

Inspiration Ranch was proud to be one of ten area nonprofits for which Waste Connections raised an all-time record of $1,000,000. The annual event – celebrating its tenth year – was held at Golf Trails of the Woodlands, with a Players’ Cocktail Reception the night before featuring Houston improvisational speed painter, Dan Dunn and a tournament day that included food, drinks, contests, music, the signature Legendary Tequila Party Hole, raffle, auction, and an awards celebration.

“This donation from Waste Connections is significant,” says Executive Director MG Tindall. “Waste Connections generosity helps us add more students to our program and pass along a fraction [25%] of the actual program costs to our families. Seventy riders per week are currently registered in our Therapeutic Riding, and tuition assistance makes it possible for more kids to benefit from this unique program. Our thanks go to Waste Connections CEO Ronald Mittelstaedt and his team.”
