Howard Hughes Corp Celebrates Topping Out of Two Lakes Edge
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Howard Hughes Corporation celebrated the official topping out of Two Lakes Edge, the new eight-story, multifamily development on Lake Woodlands in Hughes Landing, the latest milestone for the award-winning 79-acre lifestyle destination in The Woodlands.
Located on 200-acre Lake Woodlands, Two Lakes Edge consists of 386 units with an average size of 997 square feet. The luxury development offers a variety of plans including studio micro-units and one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Residences are comprised of upscale finishes, complete with quartz countertops, simulated wood flooring, stainless appliances, walk-in closets, 10-foot ceilings and a washer and dryer in every home. All units will feature the “Dwello Home Automation Technology,” which allows the tenant to control the door lock, thermostat and lights via smartphone or verbally through Amazon’s Alexa voice-controlled platform.
The new development will include a sports lounge with a multi-sport simulator, sky lounge, co-working area offering meeting space and private offices, wine room, individual storage units, and an expansive fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and a large yoga room.
Two Lakes Edge will also feature extensive outdoor amenities including a resort-style pool adjacent to Lake Woodlands with elevated views of the water, a European-style courtyard with an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor fitness lawn adjacent to Lake Woodlands where multiple kayaks and bikes are free to use by residents and will highlight the health and wellness amenities of the property.

Hughes Landing features retail, dining at Restaurant Row, multiple retailers, an Embassy Suites by Hilton, Lakes Edge Boat House, outdoor art sculptures, entertainment at the band shell, Class A office space and One Lakes Edge, the first multifamily project within Hughes Landing, which is 99% occupied.
Two Lakes Edge is the second multifamily residential building in Hughes Landing, developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation. The new project will include retail and a restaurant on the ground level along Hughes Landing Boulevard. The building will provide parking on all levels of the development designed to wrap around and provide direct access to each floor.
Completion of Two Lakes Edge is expected in spring 2020, with pre-leasing set to start by the end of 2019. Preston Partnership is the architect of the new development, and Hoar Construction is the construction manager.
