Hootie & The Blowfish announce 2019 Group Therapy Tour
Hootie & The Blowfish are hitting the road for the first time in over 10 years. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will host Hootie & The Blowfish with Special Guest Barenaked Ladies during their 2019 Season on Friday, June 14, 2019. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 7, at 10 a.m.
“Once the four of us met and started playing shows, we toured for years before signing a record deal,” reflects Rucker who, in the 10+ year break since their last formal tour and nearly 15 years since their last studio album as a band, has charted nine No. 1 singles on Country radio.
Felber notes, “Having those shows at fraternity houses, clubs and dive bars under our belt prepared us for success to a degree, and it’s something we’re proud of – that we put in the work – but what matters to me the most is that we’re still a band all these years later. We’ve never stopped being a band.”
“We were content playing clubs and small theaters, so playing to three-, four- and five-times that size was incredible, and we’re looking forward to that feeling again on this tour,” Sonefeld echoes.

Tickets can only be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Lawn chairs can be purchased on-site for $7 each, cash only. Prepaid, preferred parking is available in the on-site Town Center Garage located along Six Pines Drive. Parking is $10 per vehicle for most performing arts events and $20 per vehicle for most contemporary events. Tickets for on-site parking can be purchased in advance. Some service charges may apply. Advance purchase is not required, but guarantees a space the day of the show.
