THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Get ready for tricks and treats at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s Hocus Pocus Pops featuring the Houston Symphony Friday, October 12. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance, sponsored by Woodforest National Bank and H-E-B, are $20 for reserved orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Lucas Waldin will conduct the Houston Symphony in a mesmerizing performance of horrifying horns, bewitching bassoons and chilling cellos. The performance will feature popular selections from The Incredibles, Edward Scissorhands, Frozen, and The Lord of the Rings.

Hocus Pocus Pops Characters

Everyone is gravely encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume for a chance to walk on stage during the concert. The first 100 boys and “ghouls” to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza, fully costumed, get the chance to march in the Goblin Parade. Wristbands are required to participate in the Goblin Parade.

Haunting the plazas are pre-concert activities that will start when the gates open at 6 p.m. Spellbinding crafts, otherworldly prizes and pumpkin decorating, courtesy of H-E-B, will guarantee a ghoulishly good time! Enjoy chances to win spooktacular prizes at booths offered by H-E-B, Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, Fidelity Investments, Renewal by Andersen, Woodforest National Bank, and The Pavilion Partners. If you dare, hop onto the Great Pumpkin Express and carve out some great memories on The Pavilion’s haunted grounds. Train rides begin at 5:30 p.m. in The Pavilion’s Gold Lot.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic from home or their favorite restaurant to enjoy in their seat or on the lawn. Keep in mind however, that beverages are not allowed to be brought into The Pavilion and picnics must comply with The Pavilion’s bag size restriction and/or be in original packaging. Examples include pizza within a pizza box or chips in original sealed packaging. Please visit The Pavilion’s website for more information on these restrictions. For those wanting to sit on the hill, lawn chairs also are provided free for this event.

Preferred parking is available in the on-site Town Center Garage, located along Six Pines Drive. Parking is $10 per vehicle for this and most performing arts events. Tickets for on-site parking can be purchased in advance at Ticketmaster.com and The Pavilion Box Office.
