Heath Melton

“Like many, I was personally impacted by cancer with the loss of my mother approximately five years ago which inspired and motivated my involvement in Light The Night Montgomery as a way of remembrance,” explained Melton. “I am extremely honored and excited to further my involvement in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in a greater capacity by joining the Gulf Coast Chapter as a board member in the quest to find a cure to beating cancer and more specifically blood cancers. Beating Cancer Is In Our Blood!”

Melton, a West Point graduate and US Army Combat Veteran, joined The Howard Hughes Corporation in 2015 and leads the award winning MPC efforts which include The Woodlands®, Bridgeland® and The Woodlands Hills®. While at Howard Hughes, Melton has supported the Montgomery County Light the Night as an Executive Challenger since 2016 and has been recognized as a Top-5 fundraiser in the nation two years in a row (2018 & 2019).
