Donate to 3rd Annual Operation Blue Elf until Dec. 8

By  |

The Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and community partners are partnering for the Third Annual Community Christmas Toy Drive, “Operation Blue Elf.” Now, through December 8th, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to make Christmas better for our communities’ children in need by donating new, unwrapped toys at one of our many drop off locations throughout Montgomery County. Thanks to community and business partners, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office can make Christmas brighter for over 1100 children this year.

Today, December 5, Sheriff Rand Henderson, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, along with numerous community partners finalized the purchase of toys and bikes for the 3rd Annual Operation Blue Elf. Thanks to the generous donations this year, Operation Blue Elf will be able to serve over 1100 children who are in need.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office collected gifts and monetary donations to help make Christmas better and brighter for children-in-need within our community. Community partners assisted in identifying children, infants to early teenagers, which are in need of Santa and his Blue Elf helpers this year. On the day of the event, the Operation Blue Elf event will have Santa Claus, Santa’s Helpers, and members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and community partners in attendance. There will also be law enforcement, fire, and EMS vehicles on display.

There is still time to donate to this joyous cause! Toy Donations can be made at any Sheriff’s Office location or one of our many community partner drop-off locations. See the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook Page for specific drop-off locations. If you are interested in making a monetary donation for the purchase of toys for the children you can do so via PayPal by visiting http://www.mocotxsca.org/.
