Conroe Police Double Homicide Update

On Wednesday evening, February 12, 2020, at about 5:25 p.m. Conroe Police Officers were dispatched to the parking lot at 11133 S IH-45 N. Dispatch received reports that several men had been shot.

Police and paramedics arrived and found three males shot inside of a passenger car. Lifesaving measures were started on the men, but two did not survive. A third male was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe in critical condition. Conroe Police Detectives, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and Officers from numerous agencies arrived and started the investigation. The two deceased males of Conroe have been identified as Devin Lee Rash (20 yoa) and Ryan York (20 yoa). The third male that survived the shooting remains in ICU and will remain anonymous. The shooting appears to be a drug deal gone bad over the sale of marijuana.

Conroe Police have charged Willis resident, Waymon Nicholas “Nick” Jordan, Jr. (04-11-2000) with capital murder of multiple persons and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Jordan remains in custody at the Montgomery County jail with no bond.
