Conroe ISD Students Spread Holiday Cheer at 2018 Holly Jolly Jingle

CONROE, TX– Students from across Conroe Independent School District (Conroe ISD) participated in the 4th Holly Jolly Jingle held at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Thursday, November 29. The event was attended by over 4,000 members of the public and featured the musical talents of approximately 500 junior high and high school musicians.

Attendees were treated to pre-concert performances on the plazas by the Conroe High School Choir, members of The Woodlands High School Orchestra, Caney Creek High School Choir, McCullough Junior High Strings Group, The Woodlands College Park High School Choir, Knox Junior High Orchestra, Oak Ridge High School Choir, and York Junior High Orchestra.

Pre-show entertainment was provided by the Conroe High School Jazz Band followed by program performances by The Woodlands High School Orchestra, The Woodlands College Park High School Symphony Orchestra, and the Oak Ridge High School Symphony Orchestra.

The crowd was also treated to a recorded retelling of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by The Woodlands High School Improv.
