Community Models to take stage at Local Fashion Show

The Woodlands, TX – Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands have announced Angela Banzhaf, Candice Burrows, Shirelle Chimenti, Ali May, Allison Tinker, and Amy Young as the 2018 Giving Goes Glam Community Models. The Community Models were chosen because of their dedication to serving the community through their volunteer work with Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands.

“It is our privilege to recognize these outstanding women at Giving Goes Glam! Their generosity, kindness, and commitment to service is unparalleled. They each truly embody what it means to be beautiful inside and out, and we’re grateful for their ongoing dedication to JLTW and Interfaith,” shared Laura Bomer, President of Junior League of The Woodlands.

Noemi Gonzalez and Amy Torres will serve as co-chairs of the 2018 Giving Goes Glam Fashion Show and Luncheon, presented by CHI St. Luke’s Health. The fashion show will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center on Friday, April 13, 2018, beginning at 10:00 A.M.

The fashion show is by alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet, brought to you by River Oaks District – Houston, and benefits programs and services for both Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands. The dress will be luncheon attire and will include an auction, raffle and much more.

“Giving Goes Glam was the first high fashion runway show in The Woodlands. The event was created to bring the latest “Spring Trends” to the women of our community while raising critical funds to meet the ever-increasing needs for both nonprofits,” shared Missy Herndon, President, and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands Sustainer.
