Bear Branch Pool now open for summer fun in The Woodlands

Located at 5200 Research Forest Drive, Bear Branch Pool features a large shallow end with play structure, a body slide in the deep end and the return of the beloved Orca slide. Bear Branch Pool is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 1 to 6 p.m., and is closed on Wednesdays. Season pass holders can enjoy this pool along with an additional 13 other pools located throughout The Woodlands Township.

The Woodlands Township Chairman of the Board Gordy Bunch praised the efforts of the Township’s Aquatics Division and Parks and Recreation to ensure Bear Branch’s successful re-opening this summer.

“The pool renovation is a great accomplishment in the master planning of Bear Branch and we’re pleased to reopen, especially since the pool is centrally located for many of our residents,” said Chairman Bunch. “The Woodlands is known for its outstanding pool amenities and it’s great to add Bear Branch back to the expansive list of pools that are open for summer fun. We invite our residents to enjoy the newly-renovated Bear Branch.”

Some of the enhanced features of Bear Branch Pool include new lanes for lap swimming, an expanded deck, zero depth entry, a water play area for children, new restrooms with showers and expanded parking.
