322 DWI arrests made during 2017 holiday season

Montgomery County, TX – During the 2017 Holiday season, law enforcement worked hard to keep the community safe and made 322 DWI arrests in Montgomery County from November 22, 2017 to January 1, 2018.

In comparison to the 322 DWI arrests in 2017, Montgomery County had a total of 233 DWI arrests in 2016 and 117 DWI arrests in 2015.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office (MCDAO) shared a breakdown of Montgomery County Holiday DWI Enforcement:

MCDAO Data Range – November 22, 2017 to January 1, 2018

  • Total DWI Arrests – 322
  • Total Felony DWI Arrests – 46
  • Total Misdemeanor DWI Arrests – 276
  • Intoxication Assault – 2
  • Intoxication Manslaughter – 0
  • Blood Search Warrants Completed – 108
  • # of Arrests by Agency:
    • DPS – 118
    • Conroe PD – 57
    • Pct. 3 Constable – 47
    • MCSO – 45
    • Magnolia PD – 16
    • Pct. 4 Constable – 9
    • Splendora PD – 9
    • Shenandoah PD – 5
    • Pct. 2 Constable – 4
    • Montgomery PD – 4
    • Oak Ridge North PD – 2
    • TP&W – 2
    • Pct. 1 Constable – 2

MCDAO Data Range – New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day

  • Total DWI Arrests – 8 (8 also in 2016)
  • Total Felony DWI Arrests – 1
  • Total Misdemeanor DWI Arrests – 7
  • Intoxication Assault – 0
  • Intoxication Manslaughter – 0

There were also no confirmed DWI related deaths were reported during these time periods.
