June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 – Waterway Nights – Enjoy live music by local and regional performers in the picturesque setting of Waterway Square at Waterway Nights. Taking place in the spring and summer, Waterway Nights makes for an eventful night out in The Woodlands Town Center every Saturday in June from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 pm. Learn more

June 5-10 – Wine & Food Week – Wine & Food Week, produced by Food & Vine Time Productions, is the first multi-day, multi-faceted, comprehensive destination culinary and wine event in The Woodlands and the first nationally to promote locally sourced and sustainable products. View Schedule

June 9 – The 3rd Annual Throwdown Texas Burger & Music Festival – The Best Burger Creators will compete for the crown of best burger. Craft and domestic beers, artisan & boutique vendors, free kids zone and more for $6, $60 VIP. Purchase Tickets

June 29 – “Final Friday” Dance Party – Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and experience social dance on Friday, June 29 at 8 p.m. at Dance X! Enjoy free admission, dance lessons and classes, food and drink for ages 21 and up. Join us

JUNE EVENTS

June 1 – Pool Season Begins – Each pool in The Woodlands will be open for summer hours. Pools are closed one day a week for maintenance; each pool is closed a different day of the week, check before going.

June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 – Waterway Nights – Enjoy a FREE concert and community event with live music by local and regional performers in the picturesque setting of Waterway Square at Waterway Nights. June 2 – First Saturday Art Festival – Central Market Fine Art Gallery features 17 talented artists from Montgomery County, and has over 400 pieces of art to choose from. Many of the Artists will be in attendance. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting at 11am to 1:00pm Central Market Fine Art Gallery hosts a FREE art class for Intellectually Disabled Adults.

June 4 – 7 and 18-21 – Summer Golf Camp – Sign-up for a fun and interactive indoor golf camps taught by on-site teaching pros using state-of-the-art, HD golf simulators at Swing Zone Golf. Starting June 4th through August 9th, Swing Zone Golf is offering weekly 1/2 day camps for youths 6 – 12 years.  With a low teacher-to-student ratio, the camps will focus on developing golf skills including full swing, short game, rules and etiquette while keeping the experience engaging with games and activities. June 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29 – Camp Cooper – The John Cooper School’s summer programs provide a variety of fun academic and enrichment activities to keep students active and engaged over the summer. Camps include Camp Cooper, Middle School Programs, Upper School Programs, Performing Arts and Athletics Camps. Sign Up

June 5 – Abstract Paintings with Acrylics with Nancy Binford – Held at the Glade Cultural Arts Center, Nancy Binford will teach for three days from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Starting with a drawing based on line, and after making decisions regarding values, a color scheme, and repetition of broken shapes, attendees will develop a bold, interesting painting that shows direction and movement. This class is for high school students to adults of all ages; experience with acrylics will be beneficial but not mandatory. Cost is $300 for all 3 days and materials are included. Learn more

June 5 – Wine & Food Week’s “It’s a Guy Thing” – Attendees will enjoy wine and craft beers, have their shoes shined, listen to live music, and enjoy cigars. Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Tickets are $25. Learn more

June 6 – Wine & Food Week’s “Wine & Dine with Kirby’s” – Join Kirby’s Steakhouse for an a wine dinner featuring Meeker Vineyards. Kirby’s Steakhouse, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person. Learn more

June 7 – Wine & Food Week’s “HEB Wine Walk” – Market Street is transformed into a 34-acre wine walkabout with wine industry experts sharing their fruit of the vine. There will be two stages for live music, a wine pull, and each guest gets a keepsake glass. 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tickets range from $20 – $35. Learn more

June 7 – Houston Symphony: The Wild Wild West Film with Live Orchestra – Hear a range of western based classics from Copland’s “Hoedown” to Rossini’s William Tell Overture. Plus, hear fun favorites from Toy Story 2Oklahoma! and a few special surprises on the western frontier. Hats off To Reading starts at 5:30 pm, show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 for Orchestra, lawn is free.

June 7 – 8th Annual Tastefest – Sample some culinary delights at the 8th Annual Tastefest on Thursday, June 7 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention Center. Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets include 2 adult beverages and all you can eat. Children ages 5 and under are free.

June 7 – Spring Concert Series – Enjoy free Live Music at Market Street’s Central Park from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Mango Punch will be performing latin and contemporary favorites.

June 8 – Donald Duck’s Birthday Celebration – Meet Donald Duck and sing “Happy Birthday to him! Bring your camera for a special moment with Donald. The Woodlands Children’s Museum, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

June 8 – Wine & Food Week’s “Sips Suds & Tacos” – Taste some of the best tacos in town and in addition beer and wine. Ticket are $25 and include tacos from competing chefs, wine and beer samples, and live music at the Waterway Marriott from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Learn more

June 9 – Wine & Food Week’s “Platinum Wine Vault Collectors Tasting” – Each participant receives a premium keepsake wine glass and an opportunity to meet visiting special guests and experts. Guests can access the Platinum Wine Vault, the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting with access to the VIP Luxury Lounge and the opportunity to enjoy great wine with our special guests. 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the Waterway Marriott Montgomery Ballroom. June 9 – Emergency Preparedness Event – From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, residents and employees in The Woodlands have a chance to learn how to be prepared for a hurricane or any emergency by attending the free annual event.

June 9 – Conroe Art League Artist’s Reception, Artist will be in attendance to show off their work at the Madeley Building in Conroe from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for this free art event.

June 9 – Second Saturday at the Depot – Free games & activities starting at 6:00 p.m., and the hit movie The Lego Ninjago playing at dusk (around 8:00 p.m.) at the Tomball Depot. Icon Martial Arts Academy will be out to show kids some Tae Kwon Do.

June 12 – A Novel Bunch Book Club – This new book club will be hosted at Rob Fleming Recreation Center and self run by its members. There will be a new book each month and snacks will be provided at each meeting. 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. monthly.

June 13 – Houston Symphony: Jaws Film with Live Orchestra – The original summer movie blockbuster with an Academy Award winning score by composer John Williams will be playing on the screen at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with a live orchestra performing the entire score. Tickets are $20 for orchestra, lawn is free. Doors open at 8:00 p.m.

June 15 – Family Game Night Summer Series – Bring the family for a game of bingo at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center. $5 per person, 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

June 16 – Cars & Coffee presents Velotica – Exotics on Market Street – Cars & Coffee presents exotic vehicles every third Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Market Street. Admission is free.

June 17 – REMINDER: Sunday, June 17 is Father’s Day!

June 21 – Senior Dance Night – Join other seniors for an evening of dancing at Rob Fleming Recreation Center from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. Tickets are $7 at the door.

June 22 – Fairy Day Celebration – This two-day event celebrates International Fairy Day at The Children’s Museum from 10am-5pm. All adults and children are encouraged to wear their best fairy outfits! There will be an appearance by Tinker Bell and woodlands fairies, story time, and a Scavenger Hunt, face painting, and art projects.

June 22 – A Night of Dance Featuring Texas Music Festival Orchestra – Enjoy a free concert from the students of the Texas Music Festival Orchestra featuring orchestral, chamber music, and solo performances starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Jun. 27 – Mitchell Library Sock Hop Mitchell Branch – This free 50’s-themed party will feature games, music, refreshments, and more from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Community Room 102. Come in costume for a chance to win prizes.

June 28 – Mitchell Library Educational Health Fair – Texas Children’s Hospital will be sharing car seat safety, bike & pedestrian safety, and home safety information from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  This come and go fair will allow parents to walk around and try the demo’s while learning about the truly safe way to buckle in a child to a car seat (from a certified car seat technician,) fit a helmet, and safety proof a home all while practicing hands-on tips.

June 30 – Conroe Symphony Orchestra Patriotic Celebration – Bring the entire family out to this free concert celebrating our great country at Conroe’s premiere outdoor music venue at Heritage Place from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
