  • April 7 and 8 – The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival – The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is ranked as one of the top juried art festivals in the nation. Each year The Woodlands Arts Council presents The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, an annual fundraiser for our education and outreach programs in the community. Now in its 13th year, the Festival is supported by generous sponsors, charity partners and volunteers; and is attended by over 15,000 patrons. 225 extraordinary artists come from across the globe to exhibit a broad range of styles and media.   • April 7 – Food For Life Gala – The Montgomery County Food Bank is excited to host the 2nd Annual Food For Life Gala on April 7th, 2018. Come join us as we “Celebrate A Giving Community” as we highlight those that have made 2017 an amazing year for their community through the Montgomery County Food Bank.   • April 12 – Dancing with The Woodlands Stars – Join us for The Woodlands Family YMCA’s 6th Annual YMCA Dancing with The Woodlands Stars on April 12th at 6 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott featuring local leaders as the live dance entertainment. Jennifer Kelley Bruse, President and CEO of Hello Woodlands, is part of the cast and receives 1 vote for every $30 donated online, ticket or table purchase, and auction items purchased at the event.   • April 14 – Barefoot Bands in the Park – Barefoot Bands is back again! Harmony’s symphony of family-fun ambiance will come to life during this FREE outdoor concert featuring Hannah Kay, 2018 CMA Texas Female Artist of the Year. The Louise Adams Band will open for Kay during the free open-air concert taking place at The Thicket, 3811 Everly Bend Drive in the Spring master-planned community of Harmony. Other activities include a rock wall, extreme bungee jumping, a giant dry slide, an inflatable play land and more. Bright Relish and Sweet Ride food trucks will be on hand with food for purchase. Barefoot Bands in the Park

  • April 19 – North Houston Networking Extravaganza – You are invited to the 4th North Houston Networking Extravaganza on Thursday April 19th from 5-8pm. The North Houston Networking Extravaganza is a FREE event to the local business community and is the largest and only Networking event of its type in the area. Come out and meet the local business community and have some great refreshments as well as hear local key speakers including: Zach Richmond, The Richmond Group RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring, Bob Milner,  Chad L Patterson, Chad L Patterson & Associates, Steve Scott, The Houston Business Coach and Emcee Monette Smith of PR Luxury Media.   • April 20 – Glade Arts Foundation Grand Opening – Located at 2000 Woodlands Parkway, Glade Arts Foundation will unveil the museum exhibition spaces and educational and cultural community programs in the landmark building that housed the former Woodlands Information Center. The center’s backyard park by the pond will serve as a platform for public art installations and various large-scale, site-specific commissions.   • April 21 – Woodforest’s Rock the Block Party – Woodforest will be rockin’ the neighborhood with food and fun at an all-day block party, Saturday, April 21, from 10AM to 5PM. The free festivities are open to everyone and will include live bands, flame-kissed food, snow cones, inflatables, games and more. Beer and margaritas will be available for adults 21 and up. The community’s model homes, including multi-million dollar showcase homes, will be open for touring with a complimentary shuttle service. https://www.woodforesttx.com/rock

  • April 27 – Emergency Chaplain’s Group’s Annual Sporting Clay Shoot – Come join us for an incredible day shooting sporting clays with friends and first responders on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Blackwood Gun Club at 11400 FM 2854 in Conroe, Texas. This will be a fun, relaxing day – enjoyable for all skill levels. Your participation directly benefits Emergency Chaplain Group and our first responders!   • April 27 – Country Dance Open House – Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and experience social dance on Friday, April 27 from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Country Dance X! Enjoy free admission, dance lessons and classes, food and drink for ages 21 and up. Learn more
  • April 28 – NYC comes to GCP – Wake up in the city that never sleeps — by way of Conroe — when New York comes to Grand Central Park on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The community is hosting a free New York City-style street fair complete with street performers, food and fun.   • April 5 – Rock the Row Concert – Listen to the free concert in Hughes Landing on Thursday, April 5 from 7 to 9 p.m., featuring  Kaos will perform top 40’s from the 80’s to today. Learn more
  • April 5 – Heritage Park Concert – Already Gone with special guest Nightbird will share a free performance at the Heritage Park Amphitheater in Conroe. Learn more
  • April 8 and 15 – Concert in the Park – Enjoy the free concert series in Northshore Park on Sundays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. On April 8 features Time Warp, 80’s to Now Cover Band, and on April 15 features Russell Boyd, Variety Piano. Learn more
  • April 14 – The Woodlands Spring Flea Market – The Spring Flea Market provides a place for residents to sell unwanted household goods since covenants and deed restrictions do not permit garage sales on residential properties in The Woodlands. Learn more
  • April 15 – April 22 – Fine Arts Festival Week – The fine arts celebration is held at The John Cooper School each spring to showcase the work of visual and performing arts students. This amazing week-long tribute to our arts on campus allows parents, students, and members of the community to enjoy a variety of exhibitions, performances, and activities, including pop-up museums, faculty talks, classroom events, games, and featured displays of student artwork from all grade levels. There are also performances by Middle and Upper School drama, band, dance, and choir students as well as a performance by the Lower School Junior Choir. Learn more
  • April 19 and 26  – Spring Concert Series – Enjoy live music in Market Street from 6 to 8:30 p.m. On April 19 featuring Top 40 hits from Rapture and on April 26 with classic party rock and pop music by The Slags, the official band of the Houston Texans. Learn more
  • April 21 – Health Wellness & Fitness Expo – Join us at Hughes Landing Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Health, Wellness and Fitness Expo. This event showcases Chamber members who provide health care, wellness and fitness-related services and will offer free fitness classes and activities the whole family can enjoy at the top of every hour. Learn more
  • April 21 – The Woodlands Spring Market – A FREE shopping event with over 40 local artisans, makers and small businesses represented. This is an indoor shopping event for the whole family. Learn more
  • April 28 – Prescription Drug Take Back Day – The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch will host a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day drop-off location at The Woodlands Township Town Hall front parking lot.  Learn more
  • April 28 – IRONMAN North American Championship Texas – Athletes will begin with a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Woodlands. Next is a 112-mile bike course that will take participants west through the scenic, east Texas. The day ends with a 26.2-mile run course entirely within The Woodlands. Learn more
  • April 29 – Meet & Greet with David Adickes – Join us at Glade Arts Foundation for an evening with David Adickes, see his work on display and here from the artist himself on what’s influenced him over the years. Learn more
  • April 30 – Insperity Invitational -The week long event begins on Monday, April 30 with Tournament Play beginning on Friday, May 4 and concluding on Sunday, May 6. Grounds Admission is free to the public.  Learn more

  • April 7 – 11th Annual Muddy Trails Bash – The event at The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park includes 5K run, 10K run, one-mile kids’ fun run, 2K9 fun run (runner and their dog) plus the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off, live zydeco music, a Kids’ Zone and more. Learn more

  • April 14 – Night of Hope – Raise funds for Love Fosters Hope with a night of dinner, dancing, and special guest speaker, Steve Pemberton, author of “A Chance in the World,” at The Woodlands Resort. Learn more
  • April 14 – Lone Star College Star Gala – The LSC Star Gala features dinner, dancing, cocktails, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and more. Proceeds support Lone Star College Foundation and students’ dreams of a college education. Learn more
  • April 21 – Puppy Up Walk – The 1 mile walk at Rob Fleming Park will promote awareness of canine cancer and fundraise for cancer research to benefit both pets and people. Learn more
