2017 WISE Conference features Keynote Speaker Angela Carter

The WISE Conference is designed to Inspire, Support, and Empower women in a fun, upbeat networking environment. It will cater to business professionals with a desire to learn more about work-life balance utilizing the skills and talents of motivational speakers and participating in educational demonstrations.

WISE Conference Keynote Speaker, Angela F. Carter

This year’s conference includes Keynote Speaker, Angela F. Carter, President & CEO of AFC Power Strategy Group, Inc. Ms. Carter develops and facilitates seminars and conferences focused on the development of innovative and compelling leadership skills for business professionals. She was honored by National Association of Professional Women as a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year recipient for distinction in progressive leadership in business. Ms. Carter has experience successfully solving challenging projects in educational, nonprofit, governmental, and corporate environments. She cultivates client relationships to deliver business solutions that support increased productivity and performance.

Ms. Carter continues to make a valuable impact through her leadership and mentoring of business students and professionals nationwide. Her recent co-author publications have allowed her to express a clear message to women about the power they possess as global change agents. Ms. Carter has a deep-rooted passion to help individuals transform their thinking patterns to help recognize their greatest accomplishments and triumphs are within reach.

This is the conference’s 5th year of bringing together women from the greater Montgomery County area. The one-day business conference is a joint effort of Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW), Business Women’s Forum and multiple chapters of Women on a Mission to Earn Commission (WOAMTEC). Chelsea Williams of Chelsea Williams Photography will be providing complimentary headshots in the Professional Development Pavilion this year. WISE has also selected Meals on Wheels Montgomery County as the 2017 WISE Conference Charity.

WISE will be awarding three $1,000 scholarships to area women. Community women may apply for scholarships which can be used toward continuing education or business seminars.

Tickets to the September 27th event are $69, which includes lunch. Individual tickets and Corporate Tables are available for sale online until September 26th.
