15th Annual Burn Your Buns Charity Bike Ride
Conroe, TX – More than 400 cyclists are expected to take to the streets through the rolling hills of northern Montgomery County on Wednesday, July 4th at the 15th Annual “Burn Your Buns” Charity Bike Ride benefiting Bridgewood Farms starting at 7:30 am at 11680 Rose Road in Conroe.
The unique, natural course is a back road tour that begins and ends at Bridgewood Farms, and winding through the forest and hills to Shephard Hill Road in Willis. With multiple routes available at 20, 31, and 62 miles of casual, non-competitive riding through the countryside, there are treks perfect for riders of all skill and athletic levels. Also available are multiple volunteer opportunities, including cheering on the riders, keeping them hydrated at the rest stations and replenishing them with snacks and hydration at the finish line.
The fundraiser benefiting Bridgewood Farms helps provide programs and services for 120 intellectually and developmentally disabled teens and adults in Montgomery County and surrounding areas.
Each registered participant will receive a commemorative event t-shirt and finish pin (while supplies last), a goodie bag, refreshments along the route, and lunch after the ride. Packet pickup will begin at 6:15 am on Tuesday, July 4th at Bridgewood Farms lunchroom building. Event will be held RAIN OR SHINE. Individual registrations are $30 and Families of 4 can all ride for just $50. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
