110 Positive, 15 Recovered COVID-19 Cases in Montgomery County

On April 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., Montgomery County Public Health confirmed there are now 110 positive cases of COVID-19, up 17 cases from yesterday in Montgomery County.

An update was announced for Case # 1, who has been hospitalized in critical condition since early March. MCPH stated that he is improving and is now in fair condition, according to the hospital where he is being treated.

In an earlier statement today, MCPH confirmed two deaths from the virus. Read the update here.

Montgomery County Public Health has also asked residents the following, “At this time, it is important to follow CDC guidelines and governmental orders to STAY HOME in order to limit your contact with others. Limit all unnecessary contact at this time. If you are experiencing symptoms and need advice, please call our hotline staffed with paramedics who can provide help: 936-523-5040 daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.”
