Township Enhances Trolley Service For The Holidays

The Woodlands Township is enhancing the Town Center Trolley service to allow for a more convenient way for the public to enjoy the holiday season and beyond in The Woodlands. Park once, and hop aboard a free trolley to popular shopping and dining destinations in Town Center.

Coinciding with the Lighting of the Doves Festival and opening of the Ice Rink, the new service will begin Saturday, November 19, 2016, and will continue throughout the holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and then continue as a regular service in 2017.

The improved service consists of the addition of a third trolley which will reduce wait times and extend the hours of operation. Three trolleys will operate seven days a week and will circulate every 15 to 20 minutes during peak operating hours around retail and office locations throughout the Town Center area.
