Break out the bagpipes and your lucky green shirt! This year St. Patrick’s Day is FINALLY on a Friday and the entire town is ready to celebrate. From family friendly celebrations, Irish performances, to green beer-filled bashes, there are events throughout Montgomery County this holiday.

Friday, March 17

St. Patty’s Day Shindig at Town Green Park – 11am until 11pm
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the right way at St. Patty’s Day Shindig on March 17 at Town Green Park in The Woodlands.This family-friendly event has something for everyone: delicious food, green beer, live music, Irish dancers, leprechauns, bagpipes, and activities for the kids. The celebration lasts from 11a.m. to 11p.m. Learn more

Irish Dancing and Tribute at The Woodlands Children Museum (Panther Creek) – 10am until 5pm
An Irish-at-heart tribute to St. Patrick’s Day presenting traditional Irish dancing byDrake Irish Dancers at 10:45am, Cloggers Unlimited at 12pm, and the McTeggart Irish Dancers at 1pm, dedicated to sharing Irish dance. Claude Sims will be juggling and delighting the children. Learn more

All Day Celebration at The Goose’s Acre Irish Pub (Waterway) – 8am until 2am
Starting at 8am Goose’s Acre will have a breakfast buffet until 10:30am. Green beer will be flowing with live music on two different stages starting at 12pm with Irish Dancers, Bag Pipers and possibly a leprechaun or two. Ages 21 and up at 2pm to 2am. Learn more

Bash at the Brewery at B-52 Brewing (Conroe) – 12pm until 11pm
St. Patrick’s Day arrives at B-52 Brewing with extended our hours, Wings on Wheels serving lunch, Mr. Sizzles Curbside serving dinner, green beer, fun and games. Don’t forget to wear green! Learn more

Pub Party at Baker’s St. Pub & Grill (Waterway) – 3pm until 2am
The annual big bash in The Woodlands will have Green Beer, Live Music, Bag Pipers, Guinness and even a special concoction – Guinness and Lucky Charms! Live music will include The Ruse/Pete Scafidi at 4pm and Breakfast At Tiffany’s at 9pm. Learn more

Parade in Conroe (Downtown) – 5pm
The annual “Walking Parade around The Square” will be led by Mike McDougal in memory of Parade Co-Founder, Pat Green. After the Walk everyone is invited to the Red Brick Tavern for music, food, and drink specials. Learn more

Whiskey Tasting at vomFASS The Woodlands – 5pm until 8pm

Lucky Irish Food Truck Festival at Preservation Park (Old Town Spring) – 11am until 8pm
Featuring over 15+ food trucks, live music, Irish dancers, green beer, bounce houses, a petting zoo, trackless train, and vendors, the Lucky Irish Food Truck Festival will offer something for the entire family to enjoy! This event will benefit Emergency Ministries, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that provides chaplain services to police, fire and EMS agencies. Learn more

Join us St. Patrick’s Day Weekend (rain or shine) at the lawn in Market Street The Woodlands for a community expo and fitness classes on the hour. This event is open to the public, free of charge and will showcase local businesses who provide healthcare & wellness related services available to our Montgomery County residents. Learn more
