Sheriff looking for Burglar using Stolen Credit Cards

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Fitness Connection located at 129 Sawdust Road, Spring, Texas in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.

While on scene, Deputies learned that the suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole the victim’s wallet, which contained 2 credit cards. The victim was notified by the credit card fraud department that the card was used at the Target Superstore 1100 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, Texas.

Deputies then traveled to the Target and met with management who was able to determine the exact checkout lane that was used by the suspect. Deputies were then able to obtain video surveillance of the suspect using the credit card. While on location, Deputies learned that the same suspect at the Target later that day and used a different credit card. Through the investigation, the Deputies determined that the credit card used in that purchase was also reported stolen.

Deputies learned that the credit cards were stolen from a burglary of a motor vehicle at the 24-Hour Fitness Gym located at 1800 Lake Woodlands Dr.
