Mattress Mack motivates community at Networking Extravaganza

On Thursday, October 12 the “North Houston Networking Extravaganza” was held at Costco in The Woodlands with local business owners, representatives, and networking groups from across Montgomery County. All came together for this free event with an impressive line-up of speakers and light refreshments from 6 to 8 p.m.

Monette Smith of PR Luxury Media was the emcee of the evening’s program that kicked off with a message from Brett Rohloff of Costco and networking among guests.

Speakers Simon Sequeira of Quadcast, Steve Scott “The Houston Business Coach”, and Jim Mcingvale a.k.a “Mattress Mack” of Gallery Furniture each shared inspirational stories, business lessons, words of wisdom, and motivated guests to come together and rebuild as a community after Harvey.

Jim Mcingvale shared a powerful message stating, “The one thing we can take away out of this whole Hurricane Harvey thing is to believe in people, believe in the power of Texas, the resiliency, and to never give up. Never give up.”

Leaders from local networking groups and chambers of commerce also had the opportunity to share a few words on stage about their organizations with attendees.
