July 4th Tomball Celebration & Street Fest

The City of Tomball and presenting partner Allied Siding & Windows are taking the City’s 2017 Independence Day celebration back to the streets on Tuesday, July 4th.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

  • 5 to 8 p.m.  – Water activities, games, bounce houses, pony rides, face painting and more
  • 5 p.m. to dusk – Band performances and patriotic tribute
  • 7 to 8 p.m. – Mascot appearances with Rusty Rails, Dusty Trails and their friends
  • Approximately  9:30 p.m. – Aerial fireworks display
  • KSTAR  99.7 FM on-site throughout the evening

A portion of Business Highway 249 just north of FM 2920/Main Street is again shutting down for a Texas sized July 4th celebration and street festival complete with live music, the Kroger Kids Zone, eats, and the City’s famous  fireworks extravaganza at dark.

Performing on the Quick Quack Car Wash stage is classic rock Beatles cover band “The Fab 5”, with local favorite Valerie Hill leading the patriotic segment of the festival including and a red, white and blue salute to our military veterans.  Special guests Janine and Juliette Turner of Constituting America will present winners from the organization’s “We The Future” songwriting contest who will then perform their winning original tunes.

Kid’s games, bounce structures and water activities will fill the Kroger Kids Zone beginning at 5:00 p.m., with food and beverages, festival-style treats and more provided by The Original Rib Tickler, Pecos Grill, and others available throughout the evening.

The giant fireworks show will fill the sky above Business Highway 249 beginning around 9:30 p.m.

Gates open at 5 PM.  Admission and parking are free.  Coolers are welcome, but no alcohol or glass containers, and no “pop-up” shade structures may be brought into the event site. Don’t forget the lawn chairs and sun screen!  There will be free mini American flags while supplies last compliments of Allied Siding & Windows.
