Health Expo to hold Free Fitness Classes

Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce on  St. Patrick’s Day Weekend (rain or shine) at the lawn in Market Street for free fitness classes that will begin on the hour at the Health, Wellness & Fitness Expo. This event is open to the public, free of charge from 9 am to 4 pm. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit booths of Chamber members who are showcasing their healthcare and wellness related services available to all Montgomery County residents.

Saturday’s Free Fitness Class Schedule:

9:00am – Bethany Hope Fitness – HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training

10:00am 1P4:10 Sports – Home of Athletic Republic – AR FIT is a group-training program for the active adult committed to staying healthy. AR FIT combines a wide range of movement velocities with a variety of loads to safely expose muscles to a training program that will safely raise the adults fitness threshold. AR LIFT is more strength oriented as the workouts may only consist of a few major compound lifts such as bench press, squat, deadlift, barbell rows, shoulder press, etc. Jump rope, push ups, and other accessory cardiovascular exercises will be integrated in the workouts as well.

10:30am World Class Tae Kwon Do – Mini Introduction of Tae Kwon Do / Board Breaking

11:00amVillaSport Athletic Club and Spa – Zumba

12:00pm  Gold’s Gym – The Woodlands/Magnolia – Zumba

1:00pm YogaOne Studios The Woodlands, LLC – Hot Core Cardio & Flow Yoga

2:00pm Legends Sports Complex – Bootcamp/Yoga

3:00pm – The Zoo Health Club – The workout combines several elements of fitness into one power-packed hour. While REFIT® classes are structured around cardio-dance movements, they also incorporate toning, flexibility, strength training, and stretching through an easy-to-follow formula and will both challenge fitness enthusiasts and welcome beginners.
