Wise Conference to inspire, support and empower Business Women

The WISE Conference is designed to Inspire, Support, and Empower women in a fun, upbeat networking environment. It will cater to business professionals with a desire to learn more about work-life balance utilizing the skills and talents of motivational speakers and participating in educational demonstrations. Co-founders, Carol Gooch and Kiki Koymarianos started the conference in 2012. Gooch said that she and Koymarianos meet at lunch one day and the concept of WISE was born. Both women had a desire to offer an economical conference according to Koymarianos, that “…would give the opportunity to women in our community to attend a conference at a low cost, but not low content.” They have successfully achieved their mission, and the conference has grown exponentially because of their efforts and that of a dynamic team of female business professionals who share their vision.

This is the conference’s 5^th year of bringing together women from the greater Montgomery County area. The one-day business conference is a joint effort of Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW), Business Women’s Forum and multiple chapters of Women on a Mission to Earn Commission (WOAMTEC). Chelsea Williams of Chelsea Williams Photography will be providing complimentary headshots in the Professional Development Pavilion this year. WISE has also selected Meals on Wheels Montgomery County as the 2017 WISE Conference Charity.

WISE will be awarding three $1,000 scholarships to area women. Community women may apply for scholarships which can be used toward continuing education or business seminars.
